Jake Paul is set to fight former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva in his next bout. Paul is 5-0 in his short boxing career and seeking to stake a claim as one of the sport’s biggest stars and fighting Anderson Silva certainly gives him some street cred. Silva is 3-1 (2 KO) in boxing but still holds the record for the longest title reign in UFC history at 2,457 days.
This fight hasn’t even taken place yet Jake Paul appears to be looking toward his next opponent. Jake wants to fight Conor McGregor, one of the highest-earning athletes in history. But Jake doesn’t believe Conor will fight him even if it’s a $100 million PPV.
On the most recent episode of BS w/ Jake Paul, Jake Paul was asked if he believes the fight against Conor McGregor will ever happen. The short answer is ‘no’ but the full quote reveals why Jake doesn’t think Conor wants to catch his hands.
Jake Paul on why he believes a $100 million fight against Conor McGregor won’t happen
When asked if he thinks the Conor fight will happen (at 26:38 in the video below), Jake says:
“I don’t, unfortunately. Just because I think he will see what I do to Anderson and he will say ‘why would I make this kid $100 million and lose to him so he can make his name off of me.’ Who knows what that guy is doing? His career is coming to an end.”
Jake was pressed on what he means by ‘make his name off’ of him. And Paul added “I’m saying that he would make my name so much bigger if I beat him. He is A-side for sure and I would make less money in the fight, he would have the bigger percentage, but that’s speaking right now who knows what happens.”

Jake Paul and his team talks about how Team Paul wants to/should fight the Full Send/Nelk Boys crew. This seems WILDLY unlikely to happen but they’d make about a trillion dollars in PPV so maaaaybe it might?
