Jake Paul continues to scour the UFC’s welterweight division for potential opponents. First it was Ben Askren. Then it was Tyron Woodley twice. Now, he has set his sights on Jorge Masvidal.
Today on the “Impaulsive” podcast, Paul publicly offered Masvidal $5 million plus a cut of the pay-per-view sales to be his next opponent.
Jake Paul has publicly offered Jorge Masvidal $5million plus a percentage of PPV sales to fight him next: "Let's make it happen. That's the most you'll ever have gotten paid. Daddy Dana just has to let you out of your contract. You work for the UFC, you're a bitch." [IMPAULSIVE]

Shockingly, Jorge Masvidal’s agent, Malki Kawa, seems uninterested in the offer.

If Masvidal does accept, he would be the most dangerous opponent Paul has taken on yet. Masvidal would be his first opponent who has actually built his career on his striking skill. Masvidal also already has a professional boxing win under his belt.
It is worth noting that it is actually a different UFC star who is currently the betting favorite to fight Jake Paul next. That distinction goes to former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva.
After retiring from MMA, Silva went down to Mexico and won a decision in a boxing match against Julio Cesar Chavez. He has also knocked out Tito Ortiz in a boxing match since then.
Jake Paul is currently riding high after knocking Woodley out cold over the weekend. The big finish helped fans disregard the lack of action in the first 5 rounds of the fight and has the Jake Paul hype levels as high as ever.
Now that he has gotten past the Tyron Woodley chapter of his career with an emphatic win, combat sports fans will want to see him take on a greater challenge, like Masvidal or Silva, in his next fight.
