After a third straight loss, questions are abundant for the Philadelphia Eagles. But, quarterback Jalen Hurts thinks he knows why the team has lost three games in a row.

According to the franchise quarterback, the team simply isn’t committed enough. Take a look.

That’s a pretty damning thing to say about your teammates, especially when the same core players nearly won the Super Bowl last season and the team is currently at 10-4. But, desperate times call for desperate measures.

It’s certainly getting desperate in Philadelphia, as they blew a lead they had from the first quarter on in the last two minutes to lose to the Seahawks, 20-17 on Monday Night Football.

That’s the team’s third-straight loss after a dramatic Week 12 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Two of those losses came to very good teams in the 49ers and Cowboys. But, losing to a Seahawks team that had lost four straight and was starting a backup quarterback in Drew Lock is a loss that can’t be ignored.

It is ironic for Jalen Hurts to be calling out his teammates when he played poorly himself on Monday night. He had just 143 yards passing on 31 attempts, and threw two interceptions. That’s replacement-level quarterback play, and there has been too much of that lately from Jalen Hurts.

The good news for the Eagles is that they finish the season with the Giants twice with the Cardinals sandwiched in between. Those are three “get-right” games before the playoffs start as they look to get to another Super Bowl.
