James Cook is being dogged by fellow NFL players for posting an Instagram ad in which he showed absolutely no emotion while promoting a sponsored product.

The running back was seen advertising for ‘Beard Guyz,’ a company that promotes male grooming products. Cook didn’t look all that happy about being involved in the partnership, though.

His Buffalo teammates quickly trolled the rookie online, which eventually led the rusher to remove the ad from his Instagram page.

Bills players clown James Cook for hilarious ad

After seeing the post, teammates began to reply with hilarious responses in the comments section. Most all of them dogged Cook for looking uninterested in the ad.

Gabe Davis: “Yo Smile!”

Stefon Diggs: “If you don’t care just say that.”

Devin Singletary: “Mannn”

And can you blame them? I mean, at least crack a smile or something. Cook looks annoyed to be shooting the photo when he’s probably getting paid to do so.

But the post got the attention of more than just Bills players. Folks on the internet are now comparing the tailback to a popular basketball star.

Fans are now calling Cook the Kawhi Leonard of the NFL

While Cook removed the post from his personal page, it doesn’t take much scrolling to get an idea of what was posted. Look no further than this WingStop promotion.

You can’t find a picture of the running back smiling, leading NFL fans to joke that he’s the league’s Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard is known for his unexpressive personality, which draws comparisons to his being a robot. Cook appears to have that same mentality.

Folks on social media have been quick to note the similarities, and they’re now posting hilarious reactions online.

Maybe Cook can become known for this as Leonard has in the NBA.

A few Bills fans have already noticed the hilarious trend with their new running back.
