Jason Kelce Created Ticking Time Bomb With Taylor Swift After Lying To His Daughters About Cats

Travis and Jason Kelce discuss cats and Jason lying to his daughters

New Heights Podcast presented by Mint Mobile

I’m certain there is no shortage of things in life that Jason Kelce and I would agree on but I wholeheartedly agree with something he had to say on the most recent episode of the New Heights Podcast with his brother Travis where Jason claimed “I think lying to your kids is important.”

Every parent is entitled to their own approach but when it comes to things like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and whether or not magic is real/exists, I prefer to let my 5yo believe in the supernatural and let his imagination run wild, at least until the day when he has to learn the truth because it’s embarrassing in some way. In this instance, however, Jason Kelce is simply lying to his three daughters in order to avoid getting a cat and it has created a ticking time bomb with Taylor Swift, Travis’ girlfriend.

Here’s the segment from the latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Mint Mobile):

Jason tells Travis “I think lying to your kids is important” after revealing that he has been telling his daughters that cats are poisonous and that is the reason they cannot have a cat in the household.

Travis Kelce quickly points out that his kids are going to quickly discover the truth. Saying it’s “sick” that Jason lies and his kids are going “to go over to a friends house and f—— scream bloody murder because they see a cat.”

Which brings us to the Swifties learning about Jason Kelce lying to his daughters about cats and how Taylor Swift is the proud owner of three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Swifties question what will happen when Jason’s three daughters (ages 4, 3, and 1) meet Taylor Swift’s cats. Here is what Jason thinks will happen:

He’s right. It absolutely is going to be hilarious. This is also a conflict he can easily punt down the road for another day. There is no pressing need to teach his 4, 3, and 1 year old daughters that cats aren’t poisoning. And for all anyone knows, maybe his daughters are allergic to cats!

Keep up the good fight for as long as you can, Jason.
