Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Creed Humphrey recently signed the most lucrative contract for a center in NFL history. To celebrate, he took all of his positionmates out to dinner at a local barbecue joint.
They ate so much food!
Before we break it down, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ O-line. They combine to weight more than 3,000 pounds as a group.
- Creed Humphrey — 302 pounds
- Hunter Nourzad — 317 pounds
- Mike Caliendo — 301 pounds
- C.J. Hanson — 300 pounds
- Trey Smith — 321 pounds
- Joe Thuney — 304 pounds
- Ethan Driskell — 313 pounds
- Wanya Morris — 307 pounds
- Kingsley Suamataia — 326 pounds
- Jawaan Taylor — 330 pounds
Needless to say, the hog mollies can eat. Especially when they can order anything they want… for free!
Humphrey recently joined the Rich Eisen Show to discuss his new deal. As a frugal guy, most his signing bonus went straight to his savings account. If there was anything left after dinner, that is.
The list of items ordered is pretty outrageous. Humphrey said it best: “it’s pretty insane what some of these guys can put in their bodies.”
- Steaks
- 20+ appetizers
- Mashed potatoes
- Au gratin potatoes
- French fries
- Mac and cheese
- Creamed corn
- Creamed spinach
- Lobster
Although Kansas City’s offensive line did not order many vegetables during its all-expenses-paid dinner, most of the attendees started with a salad! However, the nutritional value was completely drowned out by a heavy dose of ranch and all of the accouterments. The bread basket is also in constant need of refreshing.
Once everyone at the table had an elegant sufficiency with their main course, out came the deserts. Butter cake and cheesecake were the highlights, but their spread consisted of “anything you can imagine, really.”
Creed Humphrey invited the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line out to eat so they never reached for the check. God only knows what it cost!
