How is Jason Kelce spending one of his first mornings in (unofficial) retirement from the NFL? The same way he spends most mornings, by driving his truck to the McDonald’s in Havertown and getting a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich.

Jason Kelce addressed his retirement on Wednesday’s episode of his New Heights with brother Travis, basically saying that he’d make a formal announcement when the time feels right. But for now, he’s not breaking his daily routine and is still crushing McDonald’s breakfast.

On Wednesday morning, Jason Kelce surprised his favorite McDonald’s drive-thru worker with an autographed Kelly Green Philadelphia Eagles jersey, a kind gesture that Danielle Bonham will remember for the rest of her life. She shared photos of Kelce’s present at the drive-thru with Philadelphia’s FOX29, along with a story of how this came to fruition.

The inscription on the #62 reads “To Danielle, Go Birds! Thank you!”

This wasn’t the first time Danielle Bonham had gone viral courtesy of Kelce. She previously posted a selfie on Facebook of Jason going through the drive-thru with the caption “I’m forever grateful and very fortunate to have crossed paths with him as many times as I did, and I just wish him nothing but the best.” That photo on FB racked up thousands of likes.

Flash forward to Wednesday and Jason Kelce surprised her with the autographed Kelly Green Eagles jersey seen above.

Local business owners told FOX 29 how special Jason Kelce has been to the township of Havertown. The owner of the Havertown Grille said “He’ll open doors for older people, he’ll approach the kids and offer an autograph, he doesn’t hold back, he’s the kind of person you would hope for in terms of a customer.”

Another local business owner, Carl Henderson, told FOX 29 “He’s got his footprint all over this town. The flower shop over here, the Wawa, the Kettle down on the boulevard, I mean he’s all over St. Dennis fair with his kids. I’ve seen a lot of athletes come and go, but Jason’s a special dude.”

Jason Kelce has always been looked to as one of the nicest guys in the NFL. His future after football looks extremely bright. Jason and Travis have one of the most popular podcasts in Sports and Jason could be looking at 8-figure offers to appear in the booth on NFL broadcasts.
