Eagles starting center Jason Kelce appears to be nearing a retirement decision with some of his latest.

Jason is currently in Vegas to watch his little brother play Travis against the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Front Office Sports is reporting that Jason met with ESPN and Fox about a potential TV job.

According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, Kelce met this week with ESPN to discuss possibly linking up; and FOS spoke to another source who witnessed Kelce meeting for the same purpose with Fox. (ESPN and Fox declined to comment.) Those talks are viewed as a preliminary “testing of the water;” he’s been “making the rounds” with various networks, according to one of the sources, and the expectation from both nets is that CBS, NBC and Amazon will join the hunt if Kelce officially becomes a TV free agent.

Just two weeks ago, Kelce said on his podcast that he wasn’t sure if he would retire after the Eagles playoff exit.

“I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision, I just don’t. There’s too much emotion in the moment to really fully grasp that decision.”

Considering how popular Kelce is at the moment, it wouldn’t be surprising if he made more money in TV than he makes if he comes back to play football for another year.
