New Footage Shows 300-Pound Wyoming Football Player Clobber Multiple Fans During Field Storming

New video shows Wyoming football player Jayden Williams shoving multiple Colorado State fans.


Wyoming football player Jayden Williams is under fire for pushing a Colorado State fan following a rivalry loss over the weekend. New footage shows the interaction wasn’t a one-off.

A few different angles have since been leaked on social media. Williams appeared to target multiple fans that stormed the field.

The poor display of sportsmanship makes the already ugly optics even worse.

Wyoming lost a rivalry football game.

The Cowboys travelled to Fort Collins over the weekend for their season opener. They were thrashed, 35-13.

Colorado State never trailed. They blew the game open late with 21 unanswered points. Wyoming struggled in all facets.

The offense couldn’t convert a third down. It turned the ball over four times. The defense gave up nearly 400 yards while the team committed six penalties as a whole.

All in all, it was a disappointing result given the Cowboys’ recent dominance in the series. Wyoming had won eight of the previous 10 matchups. The tides could soon be turning.

After the game, frustrations boiled over. The Rams stormed the field in celebration. Jayden Williams pushed a fan.

On Monday, head coach Jay Sawvel said that he was aware of the original video clip circulating social media. He planned to handle punishment in-house while also placing some blame on Colorado State.

Now, new footage has since emerged showing the full scene. It’s not pretty.

In the above clip, you’ll see Williams push a second fan to the ground. In this case, it appears to be a female. That came a few moments after the initial de-cleating of his first victim.

Another angle caught the leadup to the first push. The lineman was seen kicking a Colorado State fan in a successful attempt to trip them up.

In no situation did Jayden Williams appear to be targeted by opposing fans. They were simply running to midfield. He went out of his way to spark confrontation. He was not walking alongside his teammates.

With that said, there probably should’ve been protocols in place to get all players to the locker room before the field was rushed, which is obviously easier said than done.

It will be interesting to learn of Williams’ punishment with new videos surfacing. One negative interaction can be somewhat overlooked in what was a chaotic scene following an emotional loss. Two shoves and a kick are impossible to ignore.
