As far as I’m concerned, Jean-Baptiste Chandelier is the Undisputed Paragliding Champion of the World. I’m still trying to process what I’ve just watched but I’m now willing to suspend my belief in gravity, at least in the case of this man.
I haven’t ever been paragliding myself but I don’t imagine it’s very easy to pull off the ridiculous tricks we’ve just seen. He’s bouncing off every surface he comes in contact with. Jean-Baptiste Chandelier is able to hone in on pinpoint locations for tricks which is something that’s difficult in a car so I can’t imagine how he’s able to do this while paragliding, but here we are:

Frankly, this video has me stoked for Portugal. A lot of it was filmed in the Azores which are islands off the coast of Portugal, home to some of the best marlin fishing in the world. I’ll be in Portugal in a few weeks and really don’t know what I’m getting myself into, but this footage looked absolutely stunning.
