Every professional baseball player knows that hecklers are just part of the game. Usually when it is done it’s harmless and there is nothing the player can do but just laugh and shrug it off. (Usually.)
However, there are rare occasions when a baseball player can do something to shut the heckler up without ever saying a word.
Such was the case Monday night when the New York Mets took on the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park.
During the eighth inning of the game, with the Mets already up 6 to 2, New York second baseman Jeff McNeil stepped up to the dish with a man on first base.
It was at that point an unruly Giants fan decided to try and rattle McNeil by screaming at him, “Hey, McNeil, work out those legs! You’ve got no power! No power, McNeil!”
Jeff McNeil’s response? He took a 3-1 pitch from Giants reliever Mauricio Llovera and deposited it into the right field bleachers.

Things only got worse for the Mets heckler after Jeff McNeil’s home run
Then, just to add insult to injury, the Mets’ next batter, left fielder Mark Canha, cranked another home run to make the score 9 to 2.
“There’s a lot of potential in this offense,” McNeil said after the game, in which Pete Alonso also homered. “We put together really good at-bats and we had a lot of guys that are putting the ball in play and taking real good at-bats in big situations and we seem to be getting that big hit a lot.”
Several fans who claimed to have been at the game or heard the heckler on TV chimed in on Twitter to comment about the moment.
Everyone heard it. This guy was heckling the Mets and some of the Giants all game. Didn't work well for him.
