Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck first put their $68 million Beverly Hills, California, mansion on the market in July and have yet to sell it. And according to reports, the inability to move out of the house is beginning to feel like a “noose” on the pop star’s neck.

In addition to having to cancel her tour,  a very public divorce from Ben Affleck and renewed interest in her late 90s relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs following his arrest on federal charges, Jennifer Lopez’s difficult 2024 apparently also extends to the real estate market, as the actress and singer hasn’t been able to sell the home that the couple purchased in 2023.

Lopez and Affleck got married in July 2022 but divorced just over a little two years later, and now J. Lo reportedly feels “trapped” in the house with the “bad memories” of Affleck. Given the price tag of the home, Lopez is reportedly having difficulty finding interested buyers, let alone selling the place.

In August, it was reported that Affleck had purchased a $20.5 million home on the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.

“She can’t wait to get the hell out of the house when she can and assumed it would have happened by now and someone would have snapped it up especially after the renovations and personal touches she added, but nothing’s happened. She’s been told it’s only a select group of buyers who would be interested and have that kind of money, but it’s becoming increasingly frustrating being there,” a source told InTouch Weekly.

“The house is like a noose around her neck, and she feels trapped. She walks around the house and feels all the bad memories. Not even her weird voodoo magic has helped. The place still has imprints of Ben everywhere.”

While Affleck and Lopez are in the midst of separating their personal lives, their professional careers will continue to overlap as Affleck’s production company has produced both of Lopez’s next two films: Unstoppable, hitting Prime Video on January 16, and an adaptation of the Broadway play Kiss of the Spider Woman.
