Jerry Jeudy responds to video of Shedeur Sanders.
Jerry Jeudy was asked about the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback race during a live session on TikTok. He appeared to voice his support for Deshaun Watson over Shedeur Sanders.
The wideout has since clarified what he says is a false narrative.
Jeudy insists that the clip was edited. It was designed to create controversy. He rejected the insinuation amid an offseason battle for QB1.

A follower posed the following question during a Q&A session. “Who do you want your starting QB to be?”
He seemingly responded by holding up four fingers, a reference to Deshaun Watson. Was that really the case?
That admission wouldn’t necessarily be a surprise. Many believe Watson is more capable of leading the Browns’ offense in 2026. Shedeur Sanders is young. While he showed flashes as a rookie, there is still much to learn.
Watson is a proven commodity. He’s also being paid handsomely to win. Cleveland would prefer its $230 million asset not sit on the bench.
With that said, the competition remains open. Sanders will be given an opportunity to play. Jeudy understands that. He was not trying to stir the pot.

Jerry Jeudy says the video of his TikTok response was edited. He does not prefer Watson over Sanders.
The pass catcher responded to the clip on X as a way of clarification. He wants to set the record straight.

Jeudy insists the clip was changed to spark a reaction. He did not publicly approve the benching of Shedeur Sanders.
Watson has not played since 2024. Last season, Sanders went 3-4 as a starter in his absence, throwing for seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Jeudy hauled in 90 receptions in that ’24 campaign. His production dipped last year as the Browns cycled through signal callers.
He may very well prefer Watson’s proven production privately. He did not voice it publicly.
