Jets are exploring all options for wide receiver Mecole Hardman, including the possibility of a trade, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Hardman, who was signed by the Jets in free agency for a one-year, $4 million deal, has been struggling to secure playing time and was even a healthy inactive during Week 5 against the Broncos.

With backup Zach Wilson now at quarterback following the Aaron Rodgers injury, the team has been averaging just 182 passing yards per game, and instead relaying on their running game.

So far this season, Hardman has managed only one catch for six yards in four games and has seen just 22 snaps on offense.

Hardman, originally a 2nd round pick by the Chiefs in 2019, has caught 152 passes for 2,094 yards and 16 touchdowns in his career.

Another NFL team can surely use Mecole Hardman and his elite speed, he’s still young at 25-years old and has upside.
