Jim Harbaugh teased a return to Michigan after winning the biggest game of his coaching career.
On Monday night, Harbaugh won his first National Championship after Michigan handily defeated the Washington Huskies 34-13.
After the game, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt asked Harbaugh what’s next for him, and he said that he wanted to move Michigan’s spring practices back a month, which implied he might be returning to the school despite several NFL offers on the table.
“We’re moving spring practice back. We usually start on Valentine’s Day… We’re going to move it back about a month… We’ll have some nice weather in the spring in Ann Arbor.”

Harbaugh’s tone was a little different when he spoke to the media and shut down questions about his future during his postgame press conference.
“I just want to enjoy this,” Harbaugh said. “I just want to enjoy this. I hope you can give me that. Can a guy have that? Does it always have to be what’s next? What’s the future? Like I said the other day, yeah, I hope to have a future. Hope there’s a tomorrow. A day after tomorrow. A next week, a next month, a next year.”
