Jim Harbaugh will not coach the Michigan Wolverines during Saturday’s college football game against the Penn State Nittany Lions. The suspension handed down by the Big Ten will be upheld after an official ruling on the university’s legal request to delay the suspension.

There will not be a ruling today in Jim Harbaugh’s request for a temporary restraining order, according to a person familiar with the court filings. This means Jim Harbaugh will not coach at Penn State today.

It was announced on Friday afternoon that the conference will suspend Jim Harbaugh from coaching during games over the final three weeks of the regular season. That includes Saturday.

Harbaugh was on the plane from Ann Arbor to State College when the news broke and the timing could not have been more awkward. He is currently in Pennsylvania, which creates a hilarious mental picture.

In response to the Big Ten’s punishment, Michigan and Harbaugh — through their attorneys — filed a breach of contract complaint on Friday night. They also asked for an emergency temporary restraining order.

If those requests are granted, Harbaugh will be allowed to continue coaching. If not, the suspension will be enforced.

The judge ruling on the TRO and breach of contract complaint is a University of Michigan graduate. She also has a very strange tie to Connor Stalions.

There was hope among the Wolverines that a hearing could be held on Saturday morning prior to kickoff. That is not the case. A hearing will not be held.

As a result, Harbaugh will not be allowed to coach against Penn State. He will have to watch his team play on television from somewhere in State College, presumably his hotel.

That is a pretty funny image in itself: a very sad and angry Harbaugh sitting on a hotel bed watching his team like a prisoner confined to his cell.

It would be even funnier if Harbaugh ventured out to watch the game at a local bar amongst fans of the Nittany Lions. That would be the most savage thing he could do.

The most hilarious outcome is if Harbaugh pulls a Bobby Valentine and shows up in disguise.

Can you imagine that conversation?!

“No no, I’m not Jim Harbaugh, I’m Him Jarbaugh!”
