Jim Harbaugh has made it pretty clear he’s done talking about what transpired during his time at Michigan after taking the helm for the Chargers, but he couldn’t stop himself from firing a shot at the NCAA while addressing the issues the Wolverines are still dealing with in the wake of his departure.

Last year, Jim Harbaugh secured the national championship he set out to win when he became the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines ahead of the 2015 college football season, and his ability to finally check that box was probably the biggest factor in his decision to take the same role with the Los Angeles Chargers.

With that said, it’s safe to assume his NFL return was partially motivated by the cloud lingering over Ann Arbor thanks to the multiple scandals the program found itself grappling with due to what transpired during his tenure.

That includes the Connor Stalions saga at the center of an ongoing NCAA investigation as well as recruiting violations that led to the governing body handing out sanctions that would have led to Harbaugh being suspended for the entirety of the current campaign.

Harbaugh firmly proclaimed his innocence while addressing the fallout of that second inquiry during training camp in August before asserting he had no interest in dwelling on the past, but that didn’t stop him from sharing his thoughts on the current state of affairs in college athletics while speaking with ESPN for an article that was primarily devoted to chronicling the vibe shift he’s attempted to institute in Los Angeles.

Harbaugh made it very evident he’s not particularly concerned with the opinion of the NCAA due to a reputation he obviously thinks leaves a lot to be desired, saying:

“They’ve been keeping money away from players for decades. They just got hit with a $2.7 billion lawsuit.

They have no credibility. That’s the truth.”

Damn, Jim. Tell us how you really feel.
