Jimmy Butler Tried Canoeing And It Did Not Go Very Well

ESPN

Jimmy Butler was sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves during the NBA offseason in a trade that no one saw coming. Going from Chicago to Minneapolis seems like a fate that no one deserves, but Butler appears to be settling into his new home just fine.

The three-time all-star recently sat down with ESPN’s Sam Alipour for a fairly untraditional interview that was partially conducted on one of the state’s many lakes. Butler hopped into a canoe for the first time in his life to discuss how he felt about the trade, but things did not go as smoothly as he would have liked.

When Butler steps into the canoe at the 58-second mark, it begins to tip, causing him to make a noise that you would never expect Jimmy Butler to be capable of making. He followed up his first scream with another yelp at the 2:27-mark as the canoe capsized in a whopping two feet of water. There aren’t many things that are capable of making me laugh out loud, but this is one of them.

I highly suggest you stop whatever you’re doing and let Jimmy Butler bring a little bit of enjoyment into your life. If this doesn’t entertain you, I don’t know what will.
