To get himself in the right headspace before every game, Joe Burrow listens to Kid Cudi right before he takes the field. The 25-year-old Cincinnati Bengals quarterback grew up idolizing Mr. Solo Dolo, who is also from Ohio like Burrow.

During the 2020 NFL Draft, Burrow said that Scott Mescudi was his favorite musical artist. In turn, Cudi gave him a shoutout.

After winning the AFC Championship against the Chiefs, Burrow shared that Kid Cudi had actually reached out to him before the game. He also shared his favorite tracks from Mr. Rager.

After his comment, The Chosen One gave him some love back.

As it would turn out, Cudi also circled back after the game to congratulate Burrow on the win. In his message, he asked the second-year signal-caller if he would be willing to gift him his jersey.

Burrow, who was presumably a little bit star-struck, did him one better. Not only did he send Kid Cudi his game-worn jersey from the AFC Championship, but he signed it up nice for him too.

After receiving the jersey, The Lonely Stoner shared how excited he was. He said he was “geeked” and that he is going to wear the jersey to the Super Bowl and then frame it.

The Ohio love is very real for Burrow and Kid Cudi. The only way that this saga could get any better is if the Bengals win the Super Bowl and the two go party together in Los Angeles.
