  • Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are headed to the Super Bowl in just his second season.
  • It’s likely no surprise to him, though, as he’s full of “irrational confidence.”
  • Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks recently shared an NBA-related story that shows just how confident Burrow is in his abilities.

In just two seasons in the NFL, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has become one of the league’s most popular players and that’s largely due to the undeniable swag he possesses. He’s got the classic “it” factor — it’s tough to define, but you know it when you see it.

This isn’t just some recent act from Burrow, either, as he’s boasted tons of “irrational confidence” for some time ow, as evidenced by Bleacher Report host Taylor Rooks who recently took to Twitter to share Burrow’s opinion of how he’d fare in the NBA:

Joe Burrow told me if he went into an NBA game he could get at least 12-15 points (with a straight face) and I knew he was gonna be great because that is just irrational confidence.

He certainly has some experience playing basketball, as Yahoo points out that “he finished his varsity career with 1,426 career points — good for second-most in Athens High School program history — and averaged 20.0 points per game during his senior season to earn first-team All-Ohio honors.”

Joe Burrow, his irrational confidence, and the rest of the Cincinnati Bengals will take on Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in California on Sunday, February 13. The early lines out of Las Vegas currently have the Rams favored by four points in the big game.
