It’s incredibly hard to be a successful NFL head coach. The fact that Jim and John Harbaugh are both great head coaches out of the same family is pretty incredible.

On Monday night, the two met up once again as NFL head coaches, the first since John got the better of Jim in the Super Bowl over a decade ago. And, before the game, the two were having some fun that saw John challenge Jim to an arm wrestling match.

With Jim having spent 2015-2023 as the coach of the Michigan Wolverines, the two obviously couldn’t coach against each other. Instead, the two actually traded assistants, most notably current Seahawks coach Mike MacDonald.

But, with Jim leaving Michigan after a national title last year for the Chargers, a matchup of the brothers came to fruition again. And, it’s a big one. Entering Monday’s game, the Ravens were 7-4 and the Chargers were 7-3.

The two brothers met at midfield prior to the game. Take a listen to what was said.

Let’s face it. We’d all pay PPV to watch these two fight each other. It would be must-see TV.

For the record, my money is on Jim. He is an insane competitor, even for NFL head coach standards.
