Nobody inside the Seattle city limits had a better time than Seahawks general manager John Schneider during the parade on Wednesday, as the two-time Super Bowl winning exec was spotted with a drink and a grin on his face throughout the entirety of the day.

Jon Schneider’s glee was totally understandable, as he’s masterminded not one but TWO Super Bowl teams for the city of Seattle, with the latest iteration absolutely dominating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX by holding them scoreless through three quarters.

While the Seahawks were undeniably the most complete and best constructed team in the NFL this season, Schneider actually wasn’t prepared to take all of the credit, as he claimed during his victory speech that the presence of heavenly angels spurred the team on through its championship run.

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider believes that angels watched over the team during their Super Bowl run

“So here we go. We had a lot of angels this year. Angels,” Schneider began.

“I lost my father the day after the Houston game this year. Behold. And we had angels all year. Ernest lost his father. Jake Bobo lost his father. Drew Lock lost his father. Charles Cross lost his father. It’s real,” he continued.

“They were watching over us. Angels, faith watching over us. I know my father’s been watching over us the whole time. We lost one game since my father passed. With those angels, we know that Paul Allen has watched over us. To Paul Allen! And Jody, Paul would be so proud of you the way you’ve led this organization and allowed us to be where we are. To Jody Allen!!!”

The Seahawks were thoroughly dominant throughout the postseason, as they became the first team in NFL history to not commit a single turnover in their playoff run.

Heading into the 2026 season, the Seattle Seahawks are early favorites to repeat as champions with odds of about +950, which is even with the Los Angeles Rams and just ahead of the Buffalo Bills.
