Johnny Manziel was reunited with his ex-wife Bre Tiesi on the TV show Selling Sunset and apologized for his bad behavior during their marriage.
Manziel and Tiesi were married from 2018 to 2021, but after just a year of marriage Bre threw a “divorce party,” signaling the end of the marriage was obviously near.
She would officially filed for divorce later in 2019 and two years later put him on blast for cheating on her.
During recently begun new season of Selling Sunset, the couple were reunited when Johnny Manziel had Bre Tiesi help try to find him a new home in Los Angeles.
“My ex-husband, Johnny Manziel, reached out because he’s looking for a house in L.A. If you know sports, you know Johnny Football. Even if you don’t, he’s definitely a household name. He was an amazing athlete — still is,” Bre said on the show. “So I am going to help him find something in L.A., but we are going to make sure he lives very far away from me.”
While looking at the home, Tiesi joked that closet space was they “are not married,” which led Manziel to issue an apology and saying there were “a lot of other reasons.”
“Life goes the way it is supposed to go. You are in a position now where you got exactly what you wanted in life. And I’m proud of you for that and I’m happy for you. I learned a lot about what I handled wrong,” he told Bre.
“I was a lost, depressed kid running around the Hollywood Hills getting drunk every night and living in a nightclub.
“And probably a lot of time behind your back, too. Even today I feel bad for treating you like this. Getting divorced and after our breakup was probably one of the hardest times of my life and I cried and begged and pleaded.”
After hearing his mea culpa, Bre Tiesi said, “I’m happy to hear that he can recognize the hell he put me through. That tells me that at least the effort I put in is recognized, and it is not all completely in vain. Johnny is like Peter Pan. He just never wants to grow up.”
These days, Johnny Manziel is with Josie Canseco, daughter of MLB great and Bigfoot hunter Jose Canseco, while Bre Tiesi is spending much of her time raising Nick Cannon’s eighth child. Looks like they both came out ahead in the end.
