It’s always fun watching balls rocket out of stadiums and last night former Florida Gators catcher Jordan Roberts launched a ball that probably hasn’t come back down to Earth yet.
Roberts, now playing on “Team Osterman” in the Athletes Unlimited Softball league, was facing fellow former Florida Gator Kelly Barnhill in the bottom of the fourth inning.
With 2 outs, runners on first and third, and her team up 3, Roberts absolutely crushes a pitch into left field.

The announcer takes no time in declaring the titanic blast “the longest home run of the year.”
Roberts probably feels a little bad for her former teammate but that’s what she gets for serving up that meatball.
While Roberts shot was impressive, I’m still crushing on Emma Humplik and her big shot ability.
