Josh Allen seems to be carrying himself differently this offseason. He has a new level of swagger. Perhaps that’s what dating internationally known pop star and actress Hailee Steinfeld will do for a man.

After going viral last week for greeting a young fan that was brought to tears by his mere presence, this week sees the 27-year-old Bills quarterback execute a plan of revenge that was in the works for an entire year.

Last year, after Sunday Night Football on NBC reporter Peter King left Allen hanging when he went to offer his hand for a handshake, Allen did the same to King this year, leaving King’s hand emptily floating there just like his was a year prior.

Heading into the 2023 season, Allen and the Bills — who have won the AFC East division for three straight seasons — are once again to be contenders for the Super Bowl.

While the Bills don’t enter the season as the prohibitive betting favorite like they did in 2022, they are one of the top four favorites alongside the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers.

Winning the AFC East ought to be a bit tougher this season, as all three teams in the division are expected to improve, particularly the New York Jets, who acquired future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade earlier in the offseason.

The Bills will have the chance to remind the Jets of their place in the AFC East as soon as the season begins, though, as they’ll be heading down to MetLife Stadium to take on Gang Green in the first Monday Night Football game of the season on September 11, which will also be Rodgers’ first game with the team.

At this time, with just about six weeks until that Monday Night Football matchup, the Bills are slightly favored by 1 point.
