Throughout this week, football fans have found themselves wondering whether or not they will see Josh Allen play in one of the weekend’s best matchups. The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings meet on Sunday with each team currently leading their division. Unfortunately, Allen’s status has been unclear for the game.

Allen could be seen experiencing discomfort in his throwing arm near the end of the Bills’ loss to the Jets in Week 9, but the severity of the issue was unknown at the time. During this week, it was revealed that he was dealing with a UCL injury in the elbow of his right arm.

That injury kept Allen out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday and the team has invented a new injury status for him, saying that he is currently “hour-to-hour”.

Today’s practice was expected to give fans some clarity ahead of Sunday’s matchup. He ended up getting in a limited practice today, even though he didn’t participate in the portion of practice that was open to the media, and carries a “questionable” tag into the weekend.

Despite the major development on his status, Allen seemed uninterested in talking to the media at practice today. In fact, he ran into the locker room rather than answer their questions about his elbow.

He probably wouldn’t have had much of an update to offer the media that they weren’t going to get from the official report. However, his practice status will give Bills fans and Allen’s fantasy owners hope that this injury won’t cause him to miss this weekend’s game.
