The Myles Garrett – Mason Rudolph brawl on Thursday night will go down as one of the wildest moments of the NFL season, and rightly so, but there was another play worth talking about that happened early in the second quarter that’s worth talking about too.
JuJu Smith-Schuster tried to catch a pass over the middle between three different Cleveland defenders but was absolutely annihilated by two of the Browns players before falling to the ground with a concussion.
Mack Wilson wasn’t actually one of the players in on the hit, but it’s pretty clear he doesn’t feel too bad for Smith-Schuster after tweeting out, then deleting, a picture of him standing over the top of the concussed wide receiver.
Yikes. After Garrett was suspended without pay for the rest of the season, and potential postseason, at a minimum and it being confirmed Smith-Schuster suffered a concussion, it doesn’t feel like such great timing to post this sort of thing. What am I saying? It’s never a good time to post junk like this.
It doesn’t matter if Wilson deleted it, because the Internet is undefeated and if it’s out there, it’s out there forever.
With this tweet and what went down at the end of the game on Thursday night, the Browns are coming across as assholes plain and simple with stuff like this, which is a bold route to take for a loser franchise.
The Browns are 4-6 in case you forgot. Plus, they haven’t been to the playoffs since 2002 and haven’t won a playoff game since 1994.
