4-Star LSU QB Commit Looks Like Michael Vick In Madden ’04 With Ridiculous Video Game Escape

Ju'Juan Johnson Viral Highlights LSU

High school football quarterback Ju’Juan Johnson might be a wizard. He made an escape on Thursday night that looked more like Harry Houdini than anything to ever happen on the gridiron.

Johnson, a four-star prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2024, plays for Lafayette Christian Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana. His future position is entirely up in the air at this point.

Although he often starts at quarterback for the Knights, Johnson also lines up as a wide receiver and plays defensive back. It is likely that the top-ranked athlete in Louisiana will play defense on the collegiate level, but his top-tier athleticism makes it hard not to use him as a weapon on offense.

Johnson’s highlight tape is an absolute joy to watch.

After initially committing to play for Colorado, Johnson changed his mind after a visit to Boulder and later flipped to LSU. He is slated to stay home and play for the Tigers.

In the meantime, Johnson is lighting up the stat sheet during his senior season. Lafayette Christian beat Northside 65-22 on Thursday.

Johnson completed 26 of 33 pass attempts for 324 yards, added 97 yards rushing, and scored seven total touchdowns. The defense simply could not stop him no matter how hard it tried.

On one particular play, Johnson channeled his inner Michael Vick from Madden 2004.

It was straight out of a video game.

Johnson toyed with defenders in the backfield before unleashing an off-balance dart down the sideline for a big game. He made the opposing pass rush look downright ridiculous.

If Johnson continues to light it up, it will be very hard for LSU and head coach Brian Kelly not to consider using him on offense. Very few high schoolers are as athletic as the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Louisianan.

Ju’Juan Johnson. Remember the name!
