The Los Angeles Sparks fell to the Minnesota Lynx in WNBA action over the weekend, 82-66. Kelsey Plum was audibly irritated during the contest.
Her frustration was taken out on a viewer in the stands. The attendee was heard asking for a Sparks teammate to help him cash a parlay.
Plum led all Los Angeles scorers with 15 points on 6/16 shooting. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get the job done. Despite taking a one-point advantage into the halftime break, the Sparks fell by 16 points.
Minnesota outscored Los Angeles 48-31 in the second half. They picked up their 12th win in 13 games. The Sparks, meanwhile, dropped to just 4-10 on the season.
Lacking on-court production has resulted in tension building. Emotions boiled over for Kelsey Plum when a fan begged Rickea Jackson to help him hit a parlay.

Jackson’s projected point total sat around 14.5 points at most sportsbooks prior to Saturday afternoon’s matchup. She fell below that mark with nine points in the loss.
Jackson had a chance to top the total as she shot a team-high seven three pointers, but she connected on just two. She shot 25% from the field across 31 minutes of play.
The poor shooting performance helped cement Los Angeles’s loss, which was its fourth in five games.
Kelsey Plum is worried about winning on the floor. She’s not concerned with your WNBA wagers. She wants the focus to remain on turning the season around. That was very evident on Saturday.
