In a bizarre twist, Maximum Security because the first] horse in the history of the Kentucky Derby to be disqualified after finishing first.
Despite the fact that Maximum Security initially won the race, the horse and jockey Luis Saez were disqualified, and Country House and jockey Flavien Prat were declared the winners.
