Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was thrown right into the fire from day 1 this year as a starter in a thin and young wide receiver group in Buffalo. The rookie came into the year as the top outside receiver on the team after Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis departed.
The team traded for veteran star Amari Cooper this week to provide a big boost as they look to get to a super bowl for the first time in three decades. He will be mentoring Keon Coleman, and Coleman had a great quip about what Coleman will bring to the team.
Cooper was off to a slow start with the putrid Cleveland Browns this year. But, the star has had over 2300 yards the last two seasons, and has seven years of 1000 yards in his career. He will instantly become Josh Allen’s top target for an offense that really needs a reliable pass-catcher to go to the next level.
Plus, he will be a great mentor for Keon Coleman. The 33rd overall pick out of Florida State has made an impact so far, catching 12 balls for 201 yards. He’s got a way to go, but Amari Cooper is going both free things up for him and help improve on the little things.
Coleman has made himself a fan favorite with funny comments since he got drafted, and he had another great quip. Take a look.
I asked Keon Coleman how Amari Cooper can help the #Bills offense.
“Same thing like adding another person with money in your household. Help you pay everything. Help everything out. Help everybody else get open and just bring more threat to the offense.”#BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/u0TrUhJLmd

That’s one way to put it, Keon.
The new-look Bills will take on the Titans on Sunday.
