Anaheim Ducks’ Kevin Bieksa Is Not To Be Trifled With, Lays Out ANOTHER Opponent With A Superman Punch

Ducks defenseman Kevin Bieksa dropping opponents with Superman punches is starting to get ridiculous. It was just a month ago that Bieksa put Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas down hard with a Superman punch (that’s him connecting solidly with Gudas’ grill above), and now he’s done it again.

This time Bieksa’s victim was the L.A. Kings’ Andy Andreoff and just like his fight with Gudas this one too ended really quick.

Being that this is the second time in a month Bieksa has put the hurt to someone using a Superman punch, it got me to wondering. How long has he been using that move in hockey fights?

Turns out, as I was searching the archives of our old site Guyism.com, which is now part of BroBible, we actually did a post about Kevin Bieksa WAY BACK in 2009 and yep, he was throwing Superman punches back then too.

Bieska isn’t always a winner in these fights though. A couple of years ago, in 2015, we posted another Bieska fight, this one with Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher, and whoops, Fisher knocked a tooth clean out of Bieksa’s mouth.

Still, even folks on Twitter have come to realize that getting into a fight with Bieska is probably a bad idea…

Truth.
