Indiana Basketball Phenom Dropped Video Game-Like Quintuple-Double During Mind-Boggling Blowout

Kira Reynolds Basketball Highlights
Purdue Athletics

Kira Reynolds is currently committed to play college basketball at Purdue as a four-star prospect in the recruiting Class of 2025. In the meantime, she is putting up historic numbers during her final season of high school basketball.

The Indiana-native recorded the state’s first-ever quintuple-double over the weekend.

A quintuple-double, for those who are unfamiliar, occurs when a player records double-digit points, blocks, rebounds, steals and assists in the same game. That kind of performance is typically reserved for video games!

Reynolds plays for Washington High School. It is located about halfway between Evansville and Bloomington and enrolls approximately 800 students in total. The Hatchets compete in the Pocket Athletic Conference on the 3-A level.

Their star forward is already one of the best high school basketball players in state history. Reynolds recently became the first player from Indiana to reach 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 blocks and 300 assists in her career— which still has at least six games left.

Washington is currently 15-1 through its first 16 games and Reynolds is obviously a big reason for the success. She is averaging 16.6 points, 13.5 rebounds, 6.5 blocks, 6.3 assists and 3.5 steals per game.

Her most recent outing will leave your draw on the ground. Kira Reynolds scored 14 points with 10 blocks, 11 steals, 12 assists and 18 rebounds against New Prairie.

Unfortunately, there is no video of the insane performance because it was so ugly to watch. Washington won the game 85-12 with three players in double digits. New Prairie had four players score, total.

Fortunately, Reynolds’ other highlights are just as fun to watch because she can hoop on anyone, at any time, anywhere.

The Boilermakers were thrilled to land a commitment from the soon-to-be Miss Indiana Basketball. Kira Reynolds will join her sisters, Amiyah and Mila, on Purdue’s roster. She is going to light up the Big Ten!
