The Minnesota Vikings are 2-2 on the year and their two losses to the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers were by a combined 15 points. From those numbers, it’s no time to panic if you’re a Vikings fan.

But then you take a look at Kirk Cousins’ numbers and any game highlights this year and yeah, ok, it’s time to panic.

He wasn’t awful during last week’s loss in Chicago completing 27-of-36 passes, but he was also sacked six times on the day. Cousins has thrown just three touchdowns all year to go along with two picks. Things could be worse, but just barely I suppose.

Thanks to a bad start to the year and due to the fact the Internet never forgets anything, a gender reveal video from three years ago has resurfaced on Twitter and people are roasting Cousins’ form. There’s also the fact he nearly missed his giant target from about three yards away, that probably has something to do with it.

It’s pretty clear to see why Cousins didn’t take the baseball pitching route growing up, because good god, man.

I think there is room to defend Cousins here though. His wife is standing unbelievably close to him. It’s a huge deal for the two of them, but she could’ve given him at least two feet of space maybe. Instead, she decided to stand as close as physically possible limiting Cousins’ range of motion.

Yes, I know I’m pinching at straws here.

The throw is bad, he barely caught the corner of the target. It’s even worse when you realize just how big the question mark is, again three yards from him, and he doesn’t even come close to hitting it.

It certainly isn’t the most athletic form we’ve seen from an NFL quarterback.

It’s a tough look, but then again 99% of gender reveal videos are a tough look. The only thing positive that comes from these things is the fact the parents get a few cool seconds on your timeline learning whether or not they’re having a boy or girl.

Nobody that sees these videos *truly* cares, at all. The people that really care are likely filming the video or standing out of frame. It’s harsh, but it’s true.

It doesn’t excuse the abomination Cousins produced though, but hey, he went viral. That’s the throw of an $84 million man, Vikings fans, enjoy.
