Famed football announcer Kirk Herbstreit apparently has no idea how to say Shohei Ohtani’s name.
On Thursday night, the newly signed Dodger made his way to SoFi Stadium for the “Thursday Night Football” game between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams. While at the game, Ohtani was gifted a custom Rams jersey and received a loud ovation from the crowd in attendance.

During the Amazon broadcast, Herbstreit and Michaels spoke about Ohtani’s appearance, and unfortunately, Herbstreit butchered the MLB star’s name.

It’s a good thing Herbstreit usually sticks to football and doesn’t cover many other sports.
