The pay structure for the new boxing league founded by UFC CEO Dana White and Saudi backer Alalshikh has reportedly been revealed. Two weeks ago, it was announced that White and WWE’s Nick Khan would join forces with Alalshikh to form a new boxing league.

White said that he was attempting to fix boxing with the new league.

“The best fight the best. You work your way up the rankings”

“You don’t need 3 letters in front of the belt. Whoever has that belt is the best in the world in that weight class.”

BoxingScene.com got their hands at early contracts being shown to potential boxers looking to join the league.

According to BoxingScene, boxers who sign with the league will commit to a three-year term following their first bout and must stay on board for two years following their signing, which is described as the “effective date” in the contract.

Here are some of the salaries reportedly being proposed.

The contract stipulates that purses will be increased based on the fighters’ ability to crack the top 10 of “the company” and climb the rankings.

–$20,000 for a 10-round bout by an unranked fighter.

–$50,000 when ranked by “the company” at No. 5 to No. 10.

–$125,000 when ranked by the company at No. 3 to No. 4.

–$375,000 when challenging for “company” championship.

–$750,000 when defending “company” championship.

As of now, it appears that the new boxing league will be focused on younger and mid-level boxers, not superstars who command a lot more money.
