Klay Thompson Walked Out Of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ With An Hour Left Because He Was Bored, Enraging Nerds Online

The worst thing Klay Thompson could do in the eyes of those who had a wheeled backpack in high school was disrespect any of the 392 Avengers movies. I have never seen one of these movies so my default is to hate on them because the only thing I see is Marvel milking this franchise more than Tim Tebow stretching out his baseball career. This is the last one, right, nerdburgers? Did the hot guys and girls in titanium suits kill the bad guys and get the blood diamond at the cost of decimating a city? Who is going to pay for that destruction? The taxpayers? My fucking ass, bro. Did any of these narcissistic asshat superheroes think to call the goddamn police first before causing 29 head-on traffic collisions?

I know I know, I hate me too.

But at least my buddy Klay Thompson is in my corner. According to Ethan Strauss of The Athletic, Thompson walked out on the movie after two hours because he simply could not withstand the corniness.

“Thompson conserves his energy for what he loves, and he’s always been impatient with any less than favored activity. There was amusement in Warriors land when, with an hour left in the film, Klay just got up and left a screening of ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ The plot didn’t interest him, not enough to demand that much time and attention.”

People did not take too well to Klay disrespecting what many consider to be a personality trait.

Understandably for Klay, when you’re going on dates with Eiza Gonzales, there’s not much that rival that excitement.
