Kyler Murray’s untimely injury spells danger for the Arizona Cardinals. Many already are under the impression he could miss at least half of the 2023 season.
However, it sounds like some are beginning to ponder exactly how long the star quarterback will be out.
According to Josh Weinfuss, experts around the league believe Kyler Murray could be unavailable throughout the entire next season. It takes multiple months for one to recover from a torn ACL. For that reason, rumors suggest the Cardinals could be without their star quarterback all year next season.
I sure did.
There have been rumblings for weeks that Kyler Murray could miss the season. https://t.co/wIuy6iWASr

If this is true, then Arizona is in an incredibly tough spot. The franchise is still searching for a new head coach after firing Kliff Kingsbury. Anyone interested in becoming the next coach of the Cardinals will want to have Kyler Murray available as soon as possible.
Even so, if Murray were to miss the entire 2023 season, then this team could be in serious trouble to compete. Although nothing is confirmed, this injury update could alter a coaching candidate’s decision.
The Cardinals very well could be without Kyler Murray all next season. However, that is not a guarantee right now. Regardless, Ian Rapoport reports that nobody should be surprised if Murray misses the first half of the season.

That would be the ideal situation for the Cardinals. In the end, what’s most important is for Kyler Murray to return fully healthy.
