Kylie Kelce, wife of Phildelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce and the sister-in-law of Travis Kelce, has revealed what she really thinks about the effect Taylor Swift has had on the NFL and its fans.

At first, it appeared as though Kylie Kelce was not going to be on board the Taylor Swift train when her husband’s team was about to take on the Chiefs.

“I will be in the stands tomorrow, I’m a stands girl,” Kylie said when asked if she would be in the same suite as T-Swizzle.

Then, when participating in a field hockey clinic for children in Kansas City that same week, Kylie Kelce told the media, “It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera. I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter,”

After those comments, it appeared that she was feeling a little icy towards her brother-in-law’s new girlfriend.

Fast forward a couple of months and that no longer appears to be the case – something that was made pretty clear when they were seen together for the Chiefs game against Buffalo at Highmark Stadium.

Other than that though, Kylie Kelce has been pretty tight-lipped about her relationship with Taylor Swift.

However, this week Kylie was the subject of a profile published by Glamour and in it she addressed how she feels about all the hubbub Swift has caused in and around the NFL.

“My dad only had two daughters, so I was the stand-in for watching football with my dad. I always found it to be the most fun experience, watching with him to cheer on the Eagles. It was the Sunday activity,” she revealed.

“So to see that other young girls are getting involved and that they want to sit down and cheer with their dads or they’re finding their own reason to be interested, it’s only something that can be painted in a positive and exciting light. It’s just another way to encourage girls to appreciate sport.”

She’s not kidding either. She is working with Dove to create a tailored coaching program for girls 11 to 17 which will be featured during a Super Bowl commercial.

Kylie and Jason also have three little girls at home so, as she put it, they “have three sets of little eyes on us that are keeping us in line — and ears, really — that are part of the reason why I was so encouraged to get involved with Dove in this capacity.”
