Kyrie Irving has been one of the leaders pushing back against the NBA season restart and it seems he has more ideas for NBA players.
For the past week, Kyrie has been advocating for players to sit out the NBA season because he doesn’t believe games should be played during the current social unrest in the country.
Sources: Kyrie Irving led a call of 80-plus NBA players, including Chris Paul/Kevin Durant/Carmelo Anthony/Donovan Mitchell, and Irving and several players spoke up about not supporting resumed season due to nationwide unrest from social injustice/racism.

Kyrie and Lakers guard Avery Bradley have since listed a set of demands they expect the NBA to address before the NBA season restart takes place.
The priorities for Avery Bradley and the NBA players' coalition include:
➡️ Improved hiring practices for black front office and head coaching candidates
➡️ Donations to organizations serving black communitiesMore from @malika_andrews and @wojespn ⤵️ https://t.co/pzuTi9SyBS

According to Daily News reporter Stefan Bondy, Kyrie has currently proposed that players leave the NBA and start their own league.
In a recent chat group with Nets players, Kyrie Irving lobbied for skipping the bubble, the Daily News has learned. In that chat, he also proposed that the players can start their own league, according to a source. https://t.co/SqC0wcccPJ

Update: Apparently Irving’s league idea had nothing to do with his pushback against the bubble.
To be clear on this, Kyrie Irving has proposed to his teammates they should start their own league, and it’s not necessarily in response to the bubble situation. https://t.co/x6pM4Dipc3

Kyrie telling other players they should start their own league is not new. He’s talked to teammates about it this season. Based on what I was told KD was not as enthusiastic.
Taped a new Pod on it this morning. Out soon.

Update #2 Several Nets players are now refuting the Bondy and Russillo’s report.
This is FAKE news! Just stop! https://t.co/hm8pmkgM8v
