Lamar Jackson Treats The Jets Like The JV Team That They Are, Gives Out Multiple Jerseys In An Assembly Line

The New York Jets, man. Frankly, only losing by 21 points to the best team in the league on short rest should actually be considered a win.

Heading into last night’s Thursday Night Football game, I tweeted that what they Ravens were going to do to the Jets would likely be considered a felony offense in multiple states. The fact is, the Ravens are not only head and shoulders better than the Jets, but they’re so much better that it’s almost as if the two teams aren’t even playing the same sport.

So, lo and behold, when the Ravens treated their matchup against the Jets as if it were a 7-on-7 scrimmage, I was not surprised — the fans know they’re better, the Ravens know they’re better, and perhaps most importantly, the Jets know they’re better.

In fact, the Jets weren’t even shy about their lesser-than nature, as they lined up in droves to swap jerseys with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, who came prepared with multiple jerseys as if he were dealing with kids from the Make-A-Wish foundation.

While the Ravens continue to coast to the #1 seed in the AFC Playoffs, my New York Jets still have quite the uphill battle ahead of them, as they not only already and inexplicably announced that Adam Gase would be returning as the team’s head coach next season, but franchise star Sam Darnold looks like he’s already had enough of the dude after just one season.

The Jets will continue their slow and painful march towards the offseason against the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday, while the Ravens will take on the Browns, who are one of only two teams to beat the Ravens this season.
