Dana White was not only in attendance at Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, but he was also handed the mic to get in a few jokes at the legendary NFL quarterback.
White’s mind, however, as it seems to so often be, was fixated on the private sexual decisions of Constitution-protected Americans, as he opened his set by making a trans joke.
While White seemed to be playing it as an off-the-cuff riff, the construction of it suggests it was a pre-written joke as there’s a clear set-up and punchline.
“[This is] not my thing so I’m going to keep this short like Gronk’s bus,” White says before complaining about only being given a short amount of time to speak.
“Actually, let me get into this real quick, it pisses me off. I flew all the way over here and you guys give me 60 seconds. My name is *Dana*. Is that not trans enough you liberal f—-?”

White — always in promotion mode, as he made sure to point out that he had UFC fighters Sean O’Malley and Max Holloway sitting next to him — was just one of many celebrities in attendance, Kevin Heart, Nikki Glazer, Bill Belichick, Ben Affleck, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Jeff Ross, Will Ferrell (as Ron Burgundy), Kim Kardashian, and more all roasted Brady in the live Netflix event.
In addition to White’s 60-second-long set, other moments to make headlines on the night were the jokes about Kim Kardashian, TB12’s reaction to a massage joke about Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Gronk going full Gronk, Bill Belichick getting caught doing a walk of shame, and much more.
