The NFL offseason is starting to get interesting as numerous quarterbacks are rumored to be available.
One of the biggest names right now is Lamar Jackson, as his future with the Baltimore Ravens is currently unclear.
However, new rumors suggest the franchise is making a major decision regarding their superstar quarterback.
According to Jeremy Fowler, the Ravens are “strongly considered using the non-exclusive tag on QB Lamar Jackson.” The full details are below.

If Baltimore opts to go this route, then teams will be able to offer Lamar Jackson a contract. However, the Ravens will have the option to match the offer or decline it for two first-round picks.
It’s interesting how this rumor is developing right now. The situation between Jackson and the Ravens doesn’t seem to be improving.
Even so, this might be the best decision the organization can make.
As for Lamar Jackson, it opens up many possibilities. We could see a legitimate bidding war once the free agent period begins.
With that said, all eyes will be on the superstar quarterback in the coming weeks. We’re sure the Ravens are going to continue trying to make a deal happen.
However, using a non-exclusive tag could really work in their favor.
