A massive brawl erupted after Spain beat Argentina in the World Cup final. Spanish star Lamine Yamal was unfazed during his postgame celebration.

Yamal took in the championship moment as chaos unfolded just feet away. He appeared completely unaware of his surroundings.

Spain, Argentina brawl at World Cup.

The two sides began pushing and shoving at the conclusion of a tight contest. Spain won in extra time, 1-0. A goal in the 106th minute of action proved to be the difference.

With emotions still running high, players from each team squared off. Punches flew. Bodies tumbled to the ground. Eventually, cooler heads prevailed.

What started the tussle is somewhat unclear. Argentina’s Leandro Paredes was shown a red card for sparking the melee. It was the squad’s second of the day, with Enzo Fernandez earning one near the end of regulation as the result of two yellows.

Paredes is likely to land a suspension. It could be rather lengthy given what transpired. We’ll see if any others receive punishment for their involvement.

One player did not initially partake in the fighting. He may not have known it was even happening. He was too busy enjoying the moment on soccer’s biggest stage.

Yamal was overcome with emotion after the win. He put his heart and soul into the competition. His hard work was rewarded.

He was able to celebrate the World Cup championship with family on the field after the game (and brawl) wrapped up.

The title is Spain’s second World cup title. They won their first in 2010. Lamine Yamal helped bring the title back to the country in 2026. Nothing was going to prevent him from soaking it all in.
