Lance Lynn had a tough year in 2023, and his wife apparently knows it. The starting pitcher was not only traded midseason, but he allowed the most home runs in baseball.

Lynn started the season with the White Sox, where he gave up 28 homers. He was traded to the Dodgers 21 starts, making 11 appearances in Los Angeles for the NL West champs.

The change of scenery was welcomed as he posted a 7-2 overall record with the Dodgers (though he still allowed 16 HRs). This coming after going 6-9 in Chicago. Unfortunately, his year ended on a low point in the playoffs.

During the Dodgers’ NLDS series, Lynn got the start in Game 3 with his team’s season on the line. His issues with the long ball would continue as he surrendered four home runs to Diamondback hitters over his 2+ innings of work.

In all, Lynn allowed a league-leading 44 home runs in the regular season, plus those four blasts in the playoffs.

His wife was fully aware of the unwanted honor, which she reminded him of while making a recent home addition.

The couple put a pitching tunnel in their new house according to Dymin Lynn’s Instagram story. She showed followers the awesome addition while brutally trolling her husband in the process.

“Don’t worry guys,” the caption read. “We put a pitching tunnel in our new house, so Lance won’t give up the most homers in a season.”

Tough look for the starting pitcher.
