Ole Miss will host LSU in Week 5 as it looks to move to 2-0 in SEC play. Lane Kiffin’s house will be divided.
His daughter, Landry, recently hard launched a traitorous rivalry relationship. She’ll have rooting interests on each side come Saturday.
Landry Kiffin is an Ole Miss student. Her father is obviously the Rebels football coach. She’s had a major impact on his decision making in Oxford.
Lane Kiffin is considered one of the top offensive minds in college football. He’s experienced incredible success with his current program. As a result, speculation always swirls surrounding his future.
Will he take a new job? His name has previously been mentioned with SEC openings at Florida and Auburn. He’s rejected the pursuits to stay in The Sip.
Lane Kiffin’s daughter has played a role.
He turned down the Tigers, in part because of Landry.
“Kiffin’s oldest daughter, Landry, is a sophomore at Ole Miss. She moved to Oxford from Los Angeles prior to her senior year of high school to be with her father. In fact, had it not been for Landry, her dad might be coaching at Auburn right now,” Chris Low of ESPN reports. “Kiffin was leaning toward taking the Auburn job toward the end of the 2022 season when Landry came to him with a heartfelt message.”
“‘You left me one time for another job when you went to Alabama, and now I’m here with you and you’re going to do it again?’ she asked her father.”
Prior to his time at Ole Miss, Kiffin had bounced around a bit. Between 2008 and 2018, he’d held five jobs. They took him from coast to coast.
He’s since settled in with the Rebels as he makes his way through Year 6.
He now has more reason to stick around in Oxford with Landry at the school. The two have been able to share their close relationship on social media over the last few seasons.

Landry Kiffin can be seen at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium each gameday as she cheers on her dad and the Rebs. She’ll be back in the stands for their next game, but she may be rooting for Ole Miss’s next opponent on occasion.

She hinted at the romance earlier this month while chatting with Weeks’ sister, Kate. Though the initial video appears to be deleted from her TikTok account, rumors of the relationship have continued to circulate online.

Landry confirmed the whispers with the Instagram post. Ironically, the couple might’ve linked up as a result of Lane Kiffin’s refusal to set his daughter up with Ole Miss players.
