Poker pro Tom Dwan has won A LOT of money both in tournament poker and in cash games. And he’s just set the record for winning the largest hand in televised poker history.

On Tuesday night’s Hustler Casino Live stream, the buy-in was a minimum of $1 million. Tom Dwan, or ‘Durrrr’ as he’s known online, took down high roller ‘Wesley’ in a cash pot hand worth $3.1 million, the largest cash pot ever on a poker live stream or TV broadcast.

After winning this hand, Tom Dwan was up over $2 million (in cash) on the night:

What really blows my mind, in addition to this being a $3.1 million hand, is it’s not even the largest hand Tom Dwan has ever won.

On a recent episode of High Stakes Poker, Andrew Robl told a story that was corroborated by fellow pro Jean-Robert Bellande. The story is that Tom Dwan won a pot worth $9 MILLION playing at The Aria, the largest pot these pros had ever seen in person.

In last night’s game, the Hustler Casino Live table action was hotter than I’ve ever seen. Doug Polk was bluffed out of pocket aces in a hand worth $937,000.

And any other night this would’ve been the largest pot in televised poker history. The SECOND biggest poker pot ever played on a live stream or TV went down, a $2.25M pot:

Doug Polk operates one of the largest poker YouTube channels around. To see him bluffed off this hand was wild. Polk finished the night losing over $1.2 million (in cash).

After the game, Tom Dwan spoke about winning a record-setting $3.1 million cash poker pot and $1.6 million in profit on the night:

According to his HendonMob results, Tom Dwan has won $6.45 million in live poker tournaments. Between winning a $9 million pot and the $3.1 million last night, it’s evident he is INCREDIBLE in cash games.
