Last Chance U Star Isaiah Wright Wants Play College Football Again, Tells Teams To DM Him After His Murder Charges Were Dropped

Earlier this week, Isaiah Wright, the star of the second season of Netflix’s Last Chance U, had murder charges against him dropped after he agreed to a plea deal

Wright was arrested back in Sept. 2017 on 1 count of criminal homicide in the stabbing death of an 18-year-old man. Wright has been locked up ever since.

Now, we’ve learned … the 20-year-old appeared in a Tennessee courtroom on Wednesday where he agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors.

The terms of the deal … Wright pled guilty to 1 count of facilitation of aggravated robbery (which we’re told means he “furnished assistance without the intent to commit robbery”) — and in exchange the murder charge was dropped … according to his attorney, Kevin Angel.

As for his sentence, Wright got 5 years probation and time served — and we’re told he’s already been released from jail.

Apparently Wright is going to help the prosecution convict two men for the murder of 18-year-old Caleb Thomas Radford.

Wright, who had been jailed since September, received credit for time served and was sentenced to five years of supervised probation. He agreed to help law enforcers build their case as they seek to convict Keshawn Hopewell and Itiq Green of murder.

Additionally, the plea deal requires Wright, 20, to provide truthful information about his older brother, Camion Patrick. Patrick also was charged in Radford’s killing, but a judge dismissed his case last year.

Now that Wright is a free man he wants another opportunity to play college football and has asked teams to DM him on Twitter.

Hopefully Wright gets another chance to prove himself on the field.
