Even in a career that is debated as one of the greatest of all time, there are always going to be some difficult moments. For LeBron James, there is one moment in particular that has seemingly always stood out to fans as the most disappointing moment of his career.

Today, LeBron had a Q&A on Twitter and revealed that he also views this moment as the most difficult of his career.

The 2011 NBA Finals were a massive disappointment for LeBron James and the Miami Heat. It was the first season after “The Heatles” assembled and LeBron guaranteed “not one, not two, not three…” rings and when they reached the Finals, they were expected to easily get past a Mavericks squad with much less star power.

The Heat came under a ton of scrutiny after losing the series to the Mavs with LeBron in particular drawing a lot of criticism. He had a tough last few games of the series after the team had taken a 2-1 lead. LeBron struggled to 8 points on 3/11 shooting in game 4. He had 17 points on 8/19 in game 5.

In game 6 he did manage to score 21 points, but also had 6 turnovers in the game. It’s easy to see why this series would be one that stands out to him to this day.

Luckily for LeBron, he has fared a bit better in the Finals since then. He would go on to help the Miami Heat win rings in each of the next two seasons before leaving and bringing one to Cleveland and then securing the latest in a long line of titles for the LA Lakers.
