The Los Angeles Lakers took down division rival Golden State last night behind a major performance from superstar LeBron James. The 56-point output helped the Lakers leave crypto.com Arena with a 124-116 win to keep their dwindling playoff hopes alive.

James posted a double-double, throwing down posterizing dunks in a display of absolute dominance. He shot 19-of-31 from the floor, including sinking 6-of-11 three-point attempts. When all was said and done, the 37-year-old superstar had scored nearly half of the team’s points to add to his 29-point season average. He also brought down 10 boards.

As is the case with a majority of the Lakers’ home games, stars from around the sport and entertainment industry were in attendance.

One of those viewers was Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who’s fresh off of a Super Bowl title.

And boy, was he blown away by the show that LeBron put on Saturday night.

Matthew Stafford Reacts To LeBron’s Big Night

Stafford and his wife, Kelly, sat courtside to watch the Lakers upend the division rival Warriors. Throughout the contest, the QB was seen reacting in awe of the performance that LeBron was putting on.

At one point, James drills a contested three-point attempt to give Los Angeles its first lead of the fourth quarter. Stafford smiles in disbelief when the shot goes down.

With the game winding down, LeBron noted Stafford’s attendance, turning to the passer to say, “I can’t have you in the building and not put on a show.”

When the game was over, LeBron turned to Stafford to show his appreciation. He’s hoping the Lakers can follow in the footsteps of the Rams to bring another title home to Los Angeles.
